Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 30 September 2026

These terms apply to everything you book or buy from Savi Community Studio on savicommunitystudio.com: workshops, classes and events, Paint Your Own Pottery sessions, class bundles, memberships, kiln hire, gift cards and shop products. Please read them before you pay. The terms that apply are the ones shown here on the day you book.

1. Who we are

Savi Community Studio, the trading name of Gullmai Abrink (sole proprietorship)
VAT no. (ΑΦΜ): 170050675
Leokoriou 6-8 (first floor), 105 54 Athens, Greece
Email: info@savicommunitystudio.com
Phone: +30 694 643 5174

The fastest way to reach us is by email. We are not always able to answer the phone during sessions, so if we miss your call, please email us or send a message and we will get back to you.

2. Booking and payment

  • All prices are in euro and include VAT.
  • You pay the full price when you book, by card or Apple Pay through our payment provider Viva.
  • Your booking is confirmed, and our agreement is made, when you receive our confirmation email. If you don’t receive it within a few minutes, check your spam folder or contact us.
  • When you check out, we create a customer account for you where you can see your bookings and orders.
  • Please check the date, time and number of participants before you pay.

3. What’s included

What each workshop, class or session includes (materials, tools, glazing, firing, duration and group size) is described on its booking page. For Paint Your Own Pottery, the price includes the bisque piece, paints and tools, and our glazing and firing. Firing takes time: we email you when your piece is ready to collect.

If something we promised is missing or a session isn’t delivered as described, please tell us during the session or by email soon after, so we can put it right (see section 13).

4. Cancelling or changing a dated booking

For workshops, classes, events and sessions booked for a specific date and time, our Cancellation & Refund Policy applies:

  • Cancel 7 days or more before the start: full refund.
  • Cancel 3 to 6 days before the start: 50% refund.
  • Cancel less than 72 hours before the start, or don’t show up: no refund.
  • With at least 72 hours’ notice you can instead move your booking once to another date, subject to availability. A booking that has been moved can’t be refunded later.

To cancel or move a booking, email info@savicommunitystudio.com. The time we receive your email counts.

No 14-day right of withdrawal for dated bookings. Under Greek and EU consumer law (article 3ιβ(ιβ) of Law 2251/1994, article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU), the 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases does not apply to leisure services booked for a specific date or time. The cancellation rules above apply instead.

5. If we cancel or change a session

If we have to cancel a session (for example because too few people booked, illness or circumstances beyond our control), we tell you as soon as possible and you choose between a full refund or moving to another date. If we make a significant change to a session you booked, you can choose a full refund instead.

6. Right of withdrawal for gift cards, class bundles, memberships and shop products

For purchases without a fixed date you have 14 days to change your mind:

  • Gift cards, class bundles and memberships: you can withdraw within 14 days from the day of purchase. If you have already used part of it at your own request within those 14 days, we refund the unused part. Once it is fully used, the right of withdrawal ends.
  • Shop products: you can withdraw within 14 days from the day you (or someone you named) receive the product. You must return the product within 14 days of telling us, unused and in its original condition. You pay the cost of returning it. You are responsible for any loss in value caused by handling the product beyond what is needed to check it.

To withdraw, send us a clear statement by email to info@savicommunitystudio.com, for example using the model form below. We refund all payments received for the item, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method. For shop products we may wait with the refund until we have received the product back or you have shown proof that you sent it.

Model withdrawal form: “To Savi Community Studio, Leokoriou 6-8, 105 54 Athens, info@savicommunitystudio.com: I hereby withdraw from my contract for the following

, ordered on [date] / received on [date]. Name, address, order number, date.”

7. Gift cards

  • Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. We email the gift card code within 24 hours.
  • You can use a gift card for anything on our website. If an order costs less than the card’s value, the rest stays on the card for future orders until it is used up. You can check your balance on our gift card balance page.
  • Gift cards can’t be exchanged for cash, except when you withdraw from the purchase under section 6.
  • Keep your code safe: anyone with the code can use it.

8. Class bundles and memberships

  • Class bundles include the number of classes stated on the product page and must be used within the period stated there (for our 4-class bundles: 6 weeks from purchase). Classes that are not booked within that period expire.
  • Memberships give the studio access and hours described on the product page at the time you buy. Studio time is booked through our booking system and depends on availability.

9. Your pieces

  • Every piece is handmade and fired in a kiln. Colours change in firing, and small variations, drips or marks are a normal part of ceramics, not a defect.
  • If a piece breaks or is badly damaged in our firing, we offer you a replacement piece or a discount.
  • We email you when your piece is ready. Please collect it, or book a pickup slot, within a few weeks. If you don’t collect it or reply after our reminder emails, we may donate the piece to make room for new work.
  • Follow the care instructions we give you. Pieces decorated with materials you brought yourself, or with glazes not supplied by us, are for decoration only unless we tell you otherwise.

10. Kiln hire

Prices and kiln details are shown on the Kiln Hire page. You are responsible for your work being suitable for the firing temperature you request. Firing always carries some risk: we are not responsible for cracks, bloating or other defects caused by the clay, glaze or construction of work you bring, unless they were caused by our mistake.

11. Visiting the studio

  • The studio is on the first floor of Leokoriou 6-8. Directions are in your confirmation email. If you have trouble finding us, email or message us.
  • If you have mobility needs or questions about access, please contact us before booking so we can tell you what to expect and help where we can.
  • Please follow our staff’s safety instructions. Kilns and some tools are hot or sharp, and paints and glazes can stain clothes.
  • Bookings for participants under 18 must be made by a parent or guardian. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the session, unless the booking page says otherwise.
  • Tell us before the session about any allergies or health conditions we should know about.

12. Shop products and delivery

  • Delivery options and costs are shown at checkout before you pay. You can also collect your order from the studio.
  • Handmade products vary slightly in colour, shape and size. This is not a defect.
  • You have the legal guarantee of conformity under Greek law: if a product is faulty or not as described, contact us and we will repair or replace it, or give you a price reduction or refund.
  • If a product arrives damaged, email us a photo within a few days so we can sort it out.

13. Complaints

If something went wrong, please tell us first at info@savicommunitystudio.com. We reply as soon as we can, and at the latest within 14 days.

If we can’t resolve your complaint together, you can contact the Hellenic Consumer Ombudsman (Synigoros tou Katanaloti), an independent alternative dispute resolution body, at www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr.

14. Liability

We are liable to you under Greek law. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury, for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

15. Personal data

How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

16. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Greek law. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of that country.
